Despite the ceasefire of 10 October 2025, Israeli operations in the Gaza Strip continue and almost the entire population remains displaced in a shrinking area.
Open on the interactive globeBetween the ceasefire announcement and 16 September 2026, Gaza's Ministry of Health recorded 1,381 people killed and 4,757 injured, and the area accessible to Palestinians shrank to less than 40 percent of the Strip. 1.98 million people, 94 percent of Gaza's population, need shelter assistance. In the West Bank, settler attacks and displacement have increased.
