Golden Lion Tamarin Association (AMLD)

AMLD protects the golden lion tamarin and the Atlantic Forest in Rio de Janeiro state by restoring forest, connecting habitat fragments and running population censuses. After the yellow fever epidemic it runs a vaccination programme that had immunised more than 480 tamarins by October 2024.
