Conservación de la Biodiversidad del Usumacinta A.C.

COBIUS protects wildlife in the Usumacinta basin of southeastern Mexico and runs the country's first management unit dedicated to the black howler monkey. During the 2024 heat wave it coordinated the rescue of howler monkeys in Tabasco, running a temporary primate clinic in Cunduacán, and released recovered animals back to the wild.
