British Antarctic Survey (BAS)

The British Antarctic Survey carries out polar research and runs stations in Antarctica and on South Georgia. At Bird Island and King Edward Point it has long monitored seabirds and seals, including populations hit by H5N1 bird flu and krill shortages.
